Zero HP

Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax died today. Something his wife said surprised me a bit:
"It really meant a lot to him to hear from people from over the years about how he helped them become a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman, what he gave them," Gail Gygax said.
I guess it makes sense--running and participating in a D&D game requires a lot of preparation, performance skills, and off-the-cuff thinking. I can see how playing this in your formative years could give you the extra confidence and imagination to choose a career and do well at it later in life.

At the very least, it seemed to do wonders for Stephen Colbert.
