Dowd, you disgust me
Why is she mimicking the Republican habit of calling out "pork barrel" items on the basis of how silly they sound, rather than their policy merit? Is she, too, against "something called volcano monitoring"?

Volcano monitoring seems hella important if you live near one. I'm sure she could have found something much sillier if that's her tack.
